Tetrafluoroethylene gasket, also known as polytetrafluoroethylene gasket, is a high-performance sealing material widely used in the industrial field. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low friction coefficient, and excellent electrical insulation performance, PTFE gaskets are widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. Below will introduce some common specifications and materials of PTFE gaskets.

Firstly, the common specifications of PTFE gaskets mainly include inner diameter, outer diameter, and thickness. The inner diameter generally ranges from 5mm to 1000mm, the outer diameter ranges from 10mm to 2000mm, and the thickness ranges from 0.5mm to 10mm. Different specifications of gaskets should be selected according to specific application requirements.

Secondly, there are several common materials for PTFE gaskets:

1. Ordinary PTFE gasket: This is the most common PTFE gasket material, with extremely low friction coefficient and excellent chemical corrosion resistance. This type of gasket is suitable for a wide range of applications.

2. Enhanced PTFE gasket: This type of PTFE gasket adds reinforcing materials such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, and aluminum powder to PTFE to improve its mechanical strength and thermal conductivity. Enhanced PTFE gaskets are widely used in high temperature, high pressure, and high-strength working conditions.

3. Filler PTFE gasket: Filler PTFE gasket is a type of gasket that adds fillers such as glass fiber, graphite, copper powder, etc. to PTFE to change its performance. For example, adding fiberglass to the gasket can improve its mechanical strength and wear resistance, while adding graphite to the gasket can improve its thermal conductivity.

4. Silicone gasket: Silicone gasket is a sealing gasket made of silicone rubber, which has the characteristics of heat resistance, cold resistance, aging resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Organic silicon gaskets are widely used in high temperature and corrosive environments.

5. PTFE expansion gasket: PTFE expansion gasket is composed of PTFE and aluminum foil composite, which has good sealing performance and low coefficient of thermal expansion. This gasket is suitable for sealing under high temperature and high pressure conditions.

The above are some common specifications and materials of PTFE gaskets. Different specifications and materials are suitable for different working conditions and environments, and users can choose and use them according to specific needs. PTFE gaskets not only ensure good sealing performance, but also provide reliable guarantees for industrial production and equipment operation.
